About Geiger » FAQ

WHAT IS GEIGER?

Geiger is a website in both Danish and English. We also organise concerts and publish a printed magazine in Danish. The magazine is published three to four times yearly. It is free of charge and is distributed to various shops and venues across Scandinavia.

Geiger specialises in the more leftfield and adventurous side of music. The purpose of Geiger is to put focus on both electronica and the more experimental side of rockmusic - following the new trends and the history behind them.

We have organised concert with Acid Mothers Temple, Scanner, Sieben, Simon Finn, Pita, Max Richter, Billy Childish, Efterklang, AGF, Asmus Tietchens, Thomas Köner and many others.

Geiger is a nonprofit organisation. Geiger receives support from The Danish Rock Council (www.rosa.org) and Husets Forlag (www.husetsforlag.dk).
